On September 21, 2011, the UN High-Level Meeting on Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) resulted in the signing of a declaration to address key issues related to the world's leading NCDs: cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, and chronic respiratory diseases. The final declaration is available in English and in several translated versions.
