Do You Have 'MD' on Your License Plates or Credit Cards?

August 08, 2022

Some physicians buy customized MD/DO license plates or put their credentials on their credit cards. The license plates can be beneficial when doctors may have to exceed the speed limit to respond to emergencies or park in restricted spaces.

Other physicians don't want to advertise their MD status so publicly. Some say they fear that people will think they're wealthy and rob them, or that drug addicts looking for medications will vandalize their cars.

What have you done and why? Please tell us about your experience.
