Materials and Methods

A PubMed search was performed for articles published up to April 2021 (Figure 2). A comprehensive search related to the management of "ACL injuries" generated 13,157 results. The authors narrowed the search to include the term "children" to focus the study on 570 papers. To further refine the search, "ACL injuries" AND "skeletally immature" were included as search terms, which produced 327 results and from which the authors conducted the review. Institutional review board approval was not required for this study of previously published material.
