Limitations

Limitations of our study include possible sample bias. Our study population was made up of 49.3% Hispanics, 21.6% Black/non-Hispanic, and 26.4% White/non-Hispanic. However, this high percentage of Hispanics and Black/non-Hispanic does correlate with known disproportionate rates of SARS-CoV-2 infection in the US by race.[7] A second limitation is the study's duration (106 days) and the number of total patients (235).
