Trigeminal Neuralgia Comorbidity

TN most often occurs as a single pain syndrome. However, it has been reported rarely to occur with cluster headache and with paroxysmal hemicrania; these are termed cluster-tic and chronic paroxysmal hemicrania-tic syndromes, respectively. Around 10% of patients with glossopharyngeal neuralgia suffer comorbid CTN.[93]
