Summary
I have been blessed to have had a long and successful career in geriatric pharmacy practice/research and have enjoyed working with the many mentors, colleagues and mentees. I would like to thank my friends and family for their support over the years and in particular my wife Diane. I would also be remiss not to acknowledge the Veterans Health Administration where I practiced clinically for 30 years and UNC School of Pharmacy where I received two post graduate degrees and faculty support during my early/mid-career. I am optimistic that that geriatric pharmacy practice and research will continue to flourish and assure optimal pharmacotherapy for older adults (including me).
