Conclusion
Retinal toxicity may occur from a number of pharmacologic agents, through a variety of mechanisms including pigmentary retinopathy, crystalline retinopathy, photoreceptor damage, CME, central serous choroidopathy, uveitis, and vascular damage. It is important to recognize the specific constellation of signs and symptoms associated with drug-induced retinopathy, to promptly identify and detect drug toxicity, as many of the adverse effects are reversible with discontinuation of the offending agent.
