Conclusion

COVID-19 has disrupted how we live, care and work, and rehabilitation services must adapt to a world living with COVID. As countries move out of the first pandemic wave of COVID-19, cross sector, multiagency working must continue at scale, to respond to rehabilitation needs caused by the pandemic. Our transformation of rehabilitation must deliver a needs-based, individualised approach, close to home, to enable older people to live well for longer in spite of COVID-19.
