Artificial Intelligence and Medicine

Over the past decade, artificial intelligence has gradually been implemented into the medical field to help improve patient care by increasing efficiency, accuracy, and outcomes. Some avenues where artificial intelligence has become involved include radiology, pathology, microbiology, electronic medical records, and surgery. The process of diagnosis and treatment has been advanced by the capabilities of artificial intelligence and machine learning.[2] This integration of artificial intelligence into medicine remains a novel yet fast-growing concept.
