ECG Challenge: Heart Racing and Short of Breath

A 79-year-old man presents to his primary care physician because of shortness of breath and racing of his heart for the past 4 days. He denies other symptoms. The man has a history of occasional irregular and rapid heartbeat—which he treats with a beta-blocker—but does not have known heart disease.
