Psychological Supporting

The late diagnosis of CF can result in a mixture of emotional responses, from relief that a diagnosis has finally been made to anger about the delay and then anxiety about the future. Education and psychological inputs help to empower and support the individuals maximize quality of life and help adherence to treatment. Providing continued support over the long term is also important as some patients with a late diagnosis struggle to come to terms with their condition.
