NICE guidelines discuss how despite there being no evidence for the use of oral analgesia in managing catheter-associated UTI, it is reasonable to consider paracetamol given that it has a well-established efficacy and safety profile for pain management. Dehydration is often cited as a cause of UTI and so avoiding this by consuming enough fluids is also advised.
