UK Guidelines Quiz: New NICE Primary Care Indicators for Diabetes

NICE has suggested nine new indicators, with eight of these focusing on diabetes. For example, the percentage of patients with diabetes with moderate or severe frailty, on the register, in whom the last IFCC –HbA1c is 75 mmol/mol or less in the preceding 12 months. Also added are indicators that support existing NICE recommendations on cardiovascular risk assessments and statin treatment for people with type 2 diabetes
