The number of patients with chronic HCV infection included in the WL has significantly decreased over time, mainly in the recent DAA era. On the other hand, the number of patients delisted from the WL due to clinical improvement following HCV eradication has increased in the DAA era. Altogether, the proportion of patients undergoing LT for HCV–related decompensated disease has substantially decreased over time. Such a reduction has not yet been observed in HCV–patients whose indication for LT is HCC.
