What is the hepatitis virus? Well, the hepatitis virus invades liver cells and causes inflammation in the liver tissue. Five hepatitis viruses are recognized: hepatitis A, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, hepatitis D, and hepatitis E. They all have slightly different presentations, symptoms, and severity. This video covers the pathophysiology, major clinical signs and symptoms, and treatments for viral hepatitis.
