Conclusion
This study found evidence that both hatha yoga and a low-FODMAP diet can relieve gastrointestinal symptoms and improving a range of other psychological and physiological health parameters in patients with IBS. Both interventions seem to offer promising, safe treatments for people with this condition. Further studies are needed to evaluate the long-term effects, cost-effectiveness and efficacy of these approaches, as compared to other treatment modalities.
