This is an updated set of guidelines prepared for the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) Clinical Standards Unit, which includes the Therapy & Guidelines (T&G) Subcommittee. These guidelines were first produced by the British Photodermatology Group in 1994 (oral psoralen– ultraviolet A) and in 2000 (topical psoralen– ultraviolet A). This update was produced jointly by the British Photodermatology Group and the British Association of Dermatologists.
