Conclusions

Although primary spine tumors are rare, they must remain high on the differential diagnosis, because early diagnostic and treatment decisions may have farreaching implications for additional treatment options and survival rates. However, appropriate diagnostic tests, thoughtful biopsy techniques, and challenging surgery may provide a cure.
