This qualitative study reported the loss and grief experiences of pediatric oncology nurses. The findings revealed similarities among the participants as well as similarities to nurses in other studies. This study revealed some unique experiences of pediatric oncology nurses through their work in the specialty. Further studies need to be done in order to ensure that effective support services are developed for the nurses in this specialty.
