Clinical Course
CT of the head showed a well-defined, dumbbell-shaped mass straddling the left lateral orbital wall near the frontozygomatic suture, with a bony channel connecting the anterior extraorbital component to a deeper orbital component. The mass displayed an enhancing wall and a hypodense lumen (Figures 1-2).

On the basis of the clinical examination and x-ray findings, the patient was diagnosed with a dermoid cyst. The patient underwent an uncomplicated anterior orbitotomy through a temporal sub-brow incision, with complete excision of the lesion (Figure 3).
