Pruritic Folliculitis of Pregnancy

PFP is a condition that presents as a disseminated, erythematous, excoriated, papular eruption, which on skin biopsy shows evidence of follicular involvement. Some dermatologists regard this condition as a form of acne that arises during pregnancy. Differential diagnoses include bacterial folliculitis, pityriasis folliculitis and drug- or chemical-induced acneiform eruptions.
