Table 6 , Table 7 , Table 8 and Table 9 show responses for time taken to research and implement EMRs, current satisfaction with the systems, and cost In regard to cost as shown in Table 9 , not surprisingly, more physicians in small practices (1-2 physicians) kept costs low. A significant percentage (46.6%) did not know how much their system cost; this probably reflects the number of hospital-employed physicians or those in very large groups who were not involved in cost discussions.
