Conclusion
Shampoos contain a wide spectrum of potential allergens, presenting a significant challenge for patients who have positive patch-test reactions to shampoo ingredients. For patients who are allergic to multiple allergens present in shampoos, it can be very difficult to find shampoos that are safe to use. However, there are products that are devoid of all common allergens, and these can be useful for such patients (Table 2).
