      How Should APNs Bill for Group Education?

      Question

      How do APNs bill for group education for chronic conditions such as diabetes? Currently, nurses can bill if they are a recognized DSME (diabetes self-management education) center, but this is costly to obtain. Is there a group education code that can be billed under the NP's provider number?
