Final Analysis

All the tests for this patient came back within normal limits. She was informed about the risks of tobacco use and its adverse affects on the body, including weight loss, tachycardia, and upper respiratory symptoms. It was strongly recommended that she stop using the hookah and other forms of tobacco. She was given written information on tobacco and its effects on health and the American Lung Association's Web site. A follow-up appointment was requested when she returned home at the end of the semester. She was also given the provider's office e-mail address if she had further questions.
