When adolescents with DS are seen for routine health care visits, the following should be included in the visit in addition to the recommended routine adolescent health care (AAP Committee on Practice and Ambulatory Medicine, 2000; Elster and Kuznets, 1994). Record sheets are available for use in practice (Figure).
