Introduction
The American Glaucoma Society (AGS) held its annual meeting in Charleston, South Carolina, March 2-5, 2006. A broad variety of topics reflective of the main areas of current glaucoma research were presented, including work on optic nerve imaging, trabecular meshwork dynamics, intraocular pressure (IOP) fluctuation, pharmacology, epidemiology, and genetics. This report will focus on those papers presented at the meeting that are most likely to have a particular impact on the management of our patients with glaucoma in the clinic.
