PHACE syndrome should be suspected in any infant presenting with large and/or extensive facial hemangiomas. Appropriate initial evaluation may include neuroimaging of the brain and evaluation by a cardiologist. Other investigations will depend upon the individual child's clinical examination and assessment of risk factors.
