Conclusion

Utilization of advanced rendering techniques can overcome many of the limitations of traditional, full-volume MIP techniques. Enriching the display of MRA (and CTA) improves clinical acceptance and increases utilization. Employed appropriately, with awareness of their strengths and weaknesses, advanced rendering techniques can improve quality and accuracy.
