Introduction

The Society for Pediatric Dermatology held its annual 3-day meeting in Santa Fe, New Mexico, from July 12-15, 2000. Updates to research on many important aspects of pediatric dermatology were provided. The Sidney Hurwitz lecture was presented by Rudi Happle, MD, who is well known for his work in genetic disease. Numerous posters were available for viewing throughout the conference, and, as at past meetings, therapeutic dilemmas and cases of the year were presented.
