Acute complications may involve all organ systems and include the following:

  • Tumor lysis syndrome

  • Renal failure

  • Sepsis

  • Bleeding

  • Thrombosis

  • Typhlitis

  • Neuropathy

  • Encephalopathy

  • Seizures
