Answer

A retrospective cohort study looked to identify clinical and nonclinical factors associated with the evaluation of patients with newly diagnosed hematuria. The study found that patients with hematuria rarely underwent complete evaluation for bladder cancer such as the American Urological Association recommended cystoscopy and abdomino-pelvic imaging for patients 35 years or older.
