Examination for suspected sepsis in a woman with chorioamnionitis may include the following findings:

  • Fever
  • Tachycardia (>120 bpm)
  • Hypotension
  • Diaphoresis
  • Cool or clammy skin
  • Uterine tenderness
  • Foul-smelling or purulent vaginal discharge
