  • Type 2 diabetes mellitus

  • MODY

  • Psychogenic polydipsia

  • Nephrogenic diabetes insipidus

  • High-output renal failure

  • Transient hyperglycemia with illness and other stress

  • Steroid therapy

  • Factitious illness (Münchhausen syndrome by proxy)
