As the main brain antioxidant glutathione (GSH) may play a role in the development of ASD. ASD is hypothesized to be caused by oxidative stress. MRS demonatrated reduced GSH, Cr, and myoinositol (MI) in the doral anterior cingulate cortex (dACC) of participants with ASD in contrast to healhty participants without dACC. [36, 42]
