Answer

Answer

Management of patients after early fibrinolysis has been the subject of several studies. The TRANSFER-AMI [23] and CARESS-in-AMI [24] trials suggested that transfer of patients to a PCI-capable hospital within 6 hours after fibrinolysis was associated with significantly fewer ischemic complications than transfer after 24 hours.

Lack of resolution of ST elevation by at least 50% in the worst lead at 90 minutes should prompt strong consideration of a decision to proceed with immediate coronary angiography and rescue PCI. [16]
