  • Complete blood count (CBC) with hemoglobin and hematocrit

  • Coagulation studies

  • Electrolytes

  • Blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine

  • Type and crossmatch

  • Liver function tests (LFTs), amylase, lipase

  • Lactate
