Other causes of PVCs include the following:

  • Hypoxia and/or hypercapnia
  • Medications (eg, digoxin, sympathomimetics, tricyclic antidepressants, aminophylline, caffeine)
  • Illicit substances (eg, cocaine, amphetamines, alcohol, tobacco)
