Answer

Anterior pelvic exenteration consists of cystectomy, urethrectomy, hysterectomy, salpingo-oophorectomy, and partial anterior vaginectomy. Vaginal-sparing techniques can be considered in low stage patients, which will help with the preservation of sexual function. [113] Additionally, there is evidence suggesting that removing the fallopian tubes alone may decrease the risk of ovarian cancer without impacting hormonal function. [114, 115]
