Antithymocyte globulins are polyclonal antibodies targeted against T-lymphocyte antigens. Infusion of antithymocyte globulin causes a deep, rapid depletion of T lymphocytes. It has been investigated for use in severe refractory GPA. [102] However, severe adverse effects, including death, may occur. Thus, antithymocyte globulin’s use is not clinically supported. [88, 97]
