Answer

A follow-up study of 147 opening-wedge high tibial osteotomies in a consecutive series of patients affected by varus knee malalignment with isolated medial compartment degenerative joint disease reported good or excellent results in 94% of cases. Follow-up averaged 9.5 years, with a range of 7 to 12 years. [141]
