What are the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) recommendations for the treatment of osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee?

For knee osteoarthritis, the ACR conditionally recommends using one of the following:

  • Acetaminophen

  • Oral NSAIDs

  • Topical NSAIDs

  • Tramadol

  • Intra-articular corticosteroid injections
