Answer

Atacicept is a TACI-Ig fusion protein that inhibits BLyS and a proliferation-inducing ligand [APRIL]). [68] In early phase studies, atacicept was demonstrated to have biologic effects in patients with SLE, resulting in a dose-dependent reduction in B cells and immunoglobulin levels. [73]
