Active nephritis

Nephritic symptoms related to hypertension and poor renal function (typical of diffuse lupus nephritis):

  • Peripheral edema
  • Headache and dizziness
  • Nausea and vomiting

Nephrotic symptoms related to proteinuria (ypical of membranous lupus nephritis):

  • Peripheral or periorbital edema
  • Coagulopathy
