Tests include those on the following EPs:

  • Somatosensory EPs (SSEPs)

  • Visual EPs (VEPs)

  • Brainstem auditory EPs (BSAEPs)

  • Dermatomal EPs

  • Myotomal EPs

Recording electrodes may be either surface electrodes or small subdermal needles placed anywhere along the neuropathway, including the spine and scalp.
