Answer

Virus-specific laboratory studies exist for viruses such as influenza virus, respiratory syncytial virus, adenoviruses, parainfluenza virus, human metapneumovirus, varicella-zoster virus, measles virus, cytomegalovirus, herpes simplex virus, and hantavirus. Renal function should be checked and followed in patients with serious 2009 H1N1 disease because acute renal injury is common in such patients. [68, 69]
