Whereas most scoring models have been used for predicting outcomes in patients carrying a diagnosis of CAP, the systolic blood pressure, oxygenation, age, respiratory rate (SOAR) model has been validated for predicting 30-day mortality in patients hospitalized with nursing home-acquired pneumonia (NHAP).
