Specific findings on chest radiographs may include the following:

  • Linear lucencies and parallel markings radiating from the hila (tram tracking) in cylindrical bronchiectasis

  • Dilated bronchi in varicose bronchiectasis

  • Clustered cysts in cystic bronchiectasis
