Answer

Answer

SSRIs are sometimes used to treat hot flashes. Paroxetine, controlled-release paroxetine, extended-release venlafaxine, and escitalopram may provide some benefit. [3, 52, 53] Clonidine and gabapentin have been shown to reduce hot flashes. [52]
