Workers exposed to asbestos or radioactive materials should always wear required safety equipment.

Some studies have shown a reduction in lung cancer incidence with daily use of aspirin. This reflects similar studies showing as association between use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and a reduced incidence of colorectal cancer and adenoma. [225]
